Crosby Lend Lease has chosen award-winning kitchen company, Stuart Frazer Contracts to fit out its Potato Wharf canalside development in Manchester.

Located in the highly desirable Castlefield area of the city centre, the 213 one- and two-bedroom apartments will feature the SL101 SieMatic handleless furniture, MultiMatic space-saving storage system and Neff appliances. The kitchen design scheme has been inspired by the development’s external architecture and the rich industrial heritage associated with its waterside setting.

The design concept developed by Stuart Frazer Contracts incorporates timber effect cantilevered breakfast bars to reflect the construction of the canal’s locks. A basalt grey finish to the furniture was incorporated to complement the charcoal brick of the building’s exterior.

We’ve worked with Stuart Frazer Contracts on a number of developments in the past and know they are very strong in both these areas.”

Stuart Frazer Contracts collaborated with Crosby Lend Lease on the award-winning Greenquarter development and the prestigious Rossetti Place project and the team is looking forward to further consolidating the relationship.
