Record breaking year for Manchester kitchen company. Turnover growth, industry awards and new clients make perfect year for Stuart Frazer Contracts
Award-winning kitchen designer and contractor, Stuart Frazer Contracts is celebrating its most successful year to date after announcing a £2m growth in the group’s business, taking turnover for 2005 to £7m.
The Manchester-based company has released year-end figures that show a record increase in turnover for 2005-2006. The news adds further momentum to the company’s success after a year that has also seen an influx of new business with the UK’s leading property developers, a raft of industry awards and relocation to a purpose-built administration and warehousing complex in Worsley.
Stuart Frazer Contracts was launched 5 years ago with Director, Belinda Sewell at the helm and specialises in servicing the growing property development and renovation market. Building on the foundation provided by its retail sister company, Stuart Frazer, the business has become one of the leading designers, suppliers and installers of quality kitchens in the highly competitive UK contract market, winning awards for a range of prestigious developments such as Manchester’s/ Crosby Homes’ Greenquarter and Redrow Homes’ W3
Stuart Frazer was established over 30 years ago by Mark Harrison and has built a chain of showrooms throughout the North West. The company has developed a reputation for creating highly desirable, exclusive kitchens in partnership with international brand leader SieMatic.
“Through our efforts in the retail sector, Stuart Frazer has become a very strong brand, synonymous with exclusivity in both product and service”, said Mark. “In launching Stuart Frazer Contracts it was absolutely essential that we carried this same unwavering commitment to quality over to the contract market. This sort of brand extension is never without risk and I’m relieved to say that Belinda has far surpassed my expectations in this regard. Together we’ve managed to diversify the brand in a way that adds significant value to both our operations.”
Belinda Sewell, who earlier this year became a shareholder in the business, as well as Director, made it clear that the success is the result of a concerted joint effort. “This has been an amazing year,” said Belinda, “and testament to the determination of the team and the quality of their relationships with suppliers and clients.”
“Through our partnership with SieMatic we supply some of the finest kitchens in the world and have a team of designers and project managers dedicated to the same high standards. The effectiveness of this focus on quality in both product and service is borne out in our year-end figures and is the reason that we are consistently out-performing competitors.”
