IIntelligent
Design Intelligent and considered design was required to convert
this 18th Century dairy farm into a 10 modern, functional
apartments, whilst preserving its rustic charm. Design layouts
were created insitu at the development in order to fully incorporate
the authentic character of the property.
Preserving Heritage Redeveloping rural properties in a way that respects
the original building and retains consistency with its context
poses significant challenges. By working closely with the
developer, August Blake and putting design at the heart of
the project we achieved a perfect blend of past, present and
future.
Seamless Integration The end result was a highly contemporary kitchen that
flowed within its context, but also contained itself in an
internal space that was high and open. Combining SieMatic
SL furniture with Corian worktops, Neff and Miele appliances
and Hansgrohe taps, the integration of original features and
state-of-the-art kitchen is seamless.
